Dynamic Website Redesign for a Multifaceted Artist
Project goal
The client, a multi-talented individual working as a writer's assistant on a major Netflix show and an indie filmmaker and musician with a strong TikTok following of 47,000, sought to revamp their existing website to reflect their dual career paths in the film and music industries. The project's objective was to create a split website with distinct sections for film and music, highlighting their respective projects and achievements, for which the client provided all necessary content, including photos, layout ideas, essays, video reels, and font choices. However, challenges included time constraints due to the client's busy schedule, necessitating swift and efficient completion, the transition from Format to EditorX which posed adaptation challenges to a new platform, and unique design requirements to creatively showcase two different artistic personas on the split landing page.
Solution
The project began with an initial comprehensive Zoom consultation to understand the client's vision and requirements, followed by the design implementation where Ayesha, using EditorX, developed a split-landing page that seamlessly guided visitors to either the film or music sections. This phase involved careful content integration, with the placement of provided materials like photos, videos, and essays, to authentically represent the client’s work in both film and music. Any feedback was swiftly incorporated through minimal revisions to perfectly align with the client’s expectations. The outcome was highly successful, with the website being completed ahead of the scheduled deadline, leading to significant client satisfaction. The client particularly praised Ayesha’s communication skills, understanding of the project requirements, and her ability to work independently. The new website effectively showcases the client's diverse talents and achievements in both film and music, thereby enhancing their online presence and attracting potential brand collaborations and fellow musicians.
